of Harrison, AR
October 23, 1948 - April 21, 2019
Peggy Jean Thomason Ruff was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Easter Sunday, April 21 (2019) to rejoice alongside her granddaughter, Bailie Seals. Peggy was born October 23, 1948, to Carlos "Slick" and Billie Jean (Wray) Thomason.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Lee Ruff; a son, Greyson Colt Breedlove; two daughters, Carla L. Chastain and Carri E. Seals; her son-in-law, Steve Chastain; four wonderful grandchildren, Carlie E. Seals, Quentin T. Chastain, Cahl G. Chastain, and Cade M. Chastain; her beautiful great-granddaughter, Emma Rylie Shaw, who loved the teacher and staff at Room to Bloom Daycare; and her brother, Carlos Dean Thomason.
She was an example of the "perfect Christian lady with grace and dignity." Her grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and her son considered her to be the best "Grammy" the good Lord has ever created. "She's a good girl, loves her mama, loves Jesus and America too. She's a good girl, crazy about Elvis; loves her horses and her hubby too." Now she is free and hugging Bailie. She will be missed.
Graveside service was Thursday, April 25, at White Church Cemetery located at 8661 White Church Cemetery Road, Harrison.
Mike Moore and Heath Kirkpatrick officiated the service.
Pallbearers were Quentin T. Chastain, Cade M. Chastain, Cahl G. Chastain, Joshua Thomason, Steve Chastain and John Seals.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Tucker, Craig Harness, Ronnie Ruff, Kendall Ruff, Arlon Hickman and Sonny Chastain.
