Jerry Calvin Harmon 77, of Searcy left this life on April 22, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on August 24, 1941 in Rose Bud, Arkansas to Leonard and Lucille Harmon. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army National Guard and served during the Vietnam era in the Navy. He also retired from Coca Cola.
He is preceded in death by his father, sister-in-law Judy Harmon and brother-in-law George Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Geneva, his mother Lucille Harmon; two sons Brian Harmon (Tracy) of Searcy, Mark Harmon (Desi) of New Port Richey, Florida; grandchildren Ashton Decker, Madison Harmon, Gunnar Harmon of Searcy, Bridget Harmon, and Natalie Harmon of New Port Richey, Florida; one brother Charles Thomas Harmon; two sisters Linda Fulmer and Cathy Baker, also a host of other relatives and friends.
Jerry enjoyed gardening, feeding his birds and fishing. He was very patriotic and was honored to serve his country. He was a family man who loved his wife, his kids, and grandkids.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy, with Funeral Services on 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Roller-Daniel. Interment will follow at the White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy.
