August 28, 1931 - April 17, 2019

Daisy Elveta Goins, 87 of Mountain View was born August 28, 1931. She answered her call to Heaven on April 17, 2019. Daisy was the daughter of Henry Clay and Laura Swafford. She married Alvie Goins on October 20, 1953. Daisy was a faithful member of Arbanna Baptist Church and a member of Ben EHC for many years. She loved to cook, especially turkey and dressing. Daisy also loved quilting and fishing. Most of all, Daisy loved her family and Jesus.

Daisy is survived by her children, Pat and Bruce Helms of Mountain View, Janice Goins of Mountain View, Michael and Patsy Goins of Mountain View, Rita and Bobby Garlin of Batesville, Tammy and Robbie Cooper of Mountain View; brother Troy Swafford of Mountain View and sister Elsie Endsley of Heber Springs. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvie, son Larry, and grandson Jason Helms; brothers, Thadus Swafford, Ray Swafford, Roy Swafford, Larkin Swafford and sisters Bertha Thomas and Oneta Bufford.

Visitation is Friday, April 19, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services are Saturday, April 20, 2019, 2:00 PM at Arbanna Baptist Church with Brothers Jim Chandler and Glen Swafford officiating. Interment will follow the service at Friendship Cemetery in the Ben Community.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Goins, Jason Reynolds, Jamie Goins, Brandon Dayberry, Jonathon Cooper, Tyler Garlin, Cody Cooper and Dakota Goins.

Honorary pallbearer is Odell Goins. Honorary grandchildren are Wilder, Weston, and Ivy Beth Mitchell.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
