Dorthy Gayler, 94, died on April 9, 2019 at 3:30 am at her home on N Bayou Dr in Mtn.View after 3 years of dementia. Dorothy was born on April 26, 1924 in St. James, AR to Earl and Myrtie Greenway.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and father of her children Joe Younger. She lost two other life partners Grady Gayler and Fred Sopjes. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Bobby and Stephen Younger and one daughter in law Eileen Younger, 3 grandchildren Michael Younger, Shane Younger and Dr. Joseph Younger, one great grandchild Phillip Younger, her siblings Sam Greenway, Edna Norris, Ted Greenway, Bunch Greenway, Buddy Greenway and Buster Greenway and one niece Jeannie Odom.

She is survived by one sister Faye Greenway and a daughter Lisa Murphy, a daughter in law Sue Younger, 5 grandchildren Callie Reynolds, Mindi Younger, Jason Younger, Erika Hamilton, and Gregory Kent Thomas, 9 great grandchildren, Jenica and Alex Reynolds, Cole Younger, Emma and Delilah Younger, Bentley and Ella Hamilton and Kagen and Kanon Thomas, a granddaughter in law Gina Goodrow and many nieces and nephews including Pat and Dr. Terri Teague, Roger Greenway and his children Roger Jr., Chris and Jessie, Buster and Cindy Greenway, Jane and Robert Reedy and Tommy, James and Trisha Hall and so many more.

Dorothy had been a member of Flatwoods Baptist Church and at White Water Missionary Baptist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW and a member of the Auxiliary American Legion and she was a member of the historical society.

Dorothy was a beautician, dietician, secretary, medical technician and x ray technician. In retirement she began to sell property and found that to be successful. She was an artist and wrote children's stories and wrote her memoir in 2013. She loved to travel but preferred being home with family and friends.

Dot was full of life and loved her family. She was such a beautiful lady. If you ever met her you would keep her in your heart forever!!!
