Leanna Jean Gibson, passed away at her home in West Memphis on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the age of 66. Leanna was born February 26, 1953 in the State of Kentucky to parents Carl and Margaret Murphy Smith. She later in life met and married David Bruce Gibson. They were able to spend the next 30 years together before God called him home in 2004. Leanna was employed locally as an Assistant Manager with area hotels. She loved to spend her time at home knitting and quilting.

Leanna leaves behind two sons; Don Smith (Leigh-Ann) of Davenport, Florida and Tim Smith (Pam) of West Memphis, Arkansas. She also leaves three brothers and three sisters; Carl Smith of Miami, Florida, Dale Smith (Grace) of Round Rock, Texas, Tony Smith of Miami, Florida, Vanessa Acosta of Miami, Florida, Mareva Smith of Ocala, Florida and Margaret Prado of Miami, Florida. Leanna will be deeply missed by seven grandchildren who will cherish her memory; Jake Smith, Cameron Smith, Jessica Smith, Joshua Smith, Caden Smith, Jackson Beech and Jagger York. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Scott Andrew Gibson.
