Regina Hendrix, age 69 of Witts Springs, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, April 8th, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas surrounded by her family. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on February 10th, 1950 to Velburn Barnes and Elwanda Crumley Barnes.
Regina served for many years as the librarian for the Witts Springs School and later the Searcy County School District.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Hendrix of the home; daughter, Amy Hendrix of Lamar; granddaughter, Paige Young and husband Colton of Dover; sisters, Vicki Bryan and husband Melvin of Russellville, Doris Jackson and husband Allen of Witts Springs and Loretta Blair and husband Kenton of Witts Springs; brothers, Royce Barnes and wife Phyllis of Russellville, Cliffy Barnes and wife Arlene of Witts Springs and Louie Barnes of Witts Springs; mother-in-law, Verlie Carter of Harrison; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents, Velburn and Elwanda Barnes; and nephew Bradon Barnes.
Funeral services for Regina will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Jim Arnold Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Witts Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Denver Lee, Quenton Blair, Andrew Hendrix, Randy Hendrix, Allen Beckwith and Colton Young.
So very sorry...she was a special kind of lady...i have many many fond memories of her in school...every one w a smile on her face...

Amy, I will be praying for peace and comfort for your family. I never got the opportunity to meet your mom, but I know she was a sweet lady because she raised a loving daughter.
