James Chester Donald, 85 of Batesville, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019.

He was born on February 2, 1934 in Kensett, Arkansas to Robert and Violet (Edgington) Donald.

He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Southside Congregation. He loved spending time with his family, playing games with the grandkids and traveling. He enjoyed truck driving, cooking out, and sharing his beliefs with others.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Lee (Wilson) Donald; two sons, Ronnie Donald of Southside and Larry Donald (Gala) of Desha; daughter, Linda Fernicola (Francis) of Sheridan; one sister, Sarah Cvitanovich of Biloxi, Mississippi; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; two sisters; and one granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Kingdom Hall in Batesville with Eddie Wilkey officiating.
