Annette Burress, 80, of Floral passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019.

She was born on September 4, 1938 in Floral, Arkansas to James Clayton and Anna Mae (Wilcox) Pearson.

Annette was a member of Floral Baptist Church and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville. She enjoyed reading and read a large variety of books with her Bible being her favorite. She enjoyed cooking for her family especially her grandchildren and was known for having the best cheeseburgers and fried chicken. She had a green thumb and grew vegetables as well as flowers and she enjoyed tending to the flowers inside as well as outside.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Jones (Steve) of Floral and Jackie Smith (Randy) of Sidney; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buddy Burress; brother, Jim Pearson; two sisters, Norma Hays and Marlene Pearson; two sons, Greg Burress and Lance Burress; and one grandson, Jason Jones.

Pallbearers are Michael Reed, Mitchell Reed, Zack Cooper, Grant Roberts, Keith Burress, and Chris Riley.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Floral Baptist Church with Mike Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Floral.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.

She was a Sweet Dear Lady and I will alwAys remember her kindness and her being the local.beautician for folks in the Floral community. She will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace sweet lady!

What a wonderful lady Annette was. I remember her cutting my hair from a young child. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Always laughing.. smiling and joking. She will be missed. I'm sure Buddy, Greg and Lance were all there to greet her with open arms.
