April 16, 1937 - March 28, 2019

Mavis Margret (Teague) Wilson, 81, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Mavis was born on April 16, 1937 in Earle, Arkansas to the late Richard and Bertha (White) Teague. Mavis was a member of Second Baptist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas. Mavis worked for many years as a bookkeeper and dental assistant; Mavis will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Mavis is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Douglas Wilson; one daughter, Diana Multop of Diamondhead, Mississippi; four sisters, Sue Jones, June Hardesty, Mary Beck, and Peggy McHugh; one grandchild, Betsy Meeks, and three great-grandchildren, Justin Lee, Kayla Lee, and Shelby Lee; along with many extended family and friends.

Mavis was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Bertha (White) Teague and one sister, Denova Shockley.

Visitation is Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 AM also at Roller Crouch Chapel with Brother Jason Ingram officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Justin Lee, Bobby Smith, Gary Smith, Jason Lee, Darrell Browder, and Mark Wilson.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

I am so sorry about the loss of Aunt Mavis. Would like so much to be there and visit with everyone. However, due to surgery yesterday, I am confined for a while. I love you all, and will be praying for this wonderful family.
