August 20, 1924 - March 19, 2019

Mildred Vaudene Hendrix of St. Louis, MO., passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the De Greeff Hospice House. She was born August 20, 1924 in Craighead County to Walter and Amanda (Gipson) Hale. On July 13, 1943 she married Elmer Iven Hendrix. Mildred retired in 1987 as a supervisor from P & F Aluminum. She enjoyed gardening and needlework.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 42 years Elmer; daughter, Diane Friedel; brothers, Luther, Thomas and Noah Hale; sisters, Ellen Vaughn, Silvia Hale, Willia McClendon and Opal Robinson.

Survivors include, daughters, Sharon Primeau and Pat Cavato; grandchildren Jason Friedel, John Thoele,
Alex Primeau, Michael Primeau and Stephanie Primeau; great grandchildren, Jacob, McKenzie, Amelia and Max Thoele; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hale officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 9:00 am until time of service.

Lasting memorials can be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, HDSA 505 8th Ave., Suite 902, New York, NY, 10018.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Orchid Terrace Senior Living and the staff of
De Greeff Hospice House, for the loving care extended to their mother.

Pat, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mother was such a sweet lady and I wish I would have had more time to get to know her. I do know you are a wonderful daughter. May you feel God’s loving embrace carry you through this time of sadness.
