I am so sad to hear of Martha's passing. We worked together many years and I knew all of you kids. I don't know if you remember me but, I am praying for you all to get through this tough time with the Lord's peace. Hang in there...God promises us so much and Joy WILL come in the morning! Sometimes that "morning" takes a while so, in the meantime, I pray for his loving arms to fold around you until that day. Stay close to one another throughout the near future as much as possible and do a lot of reminiscing! Sharing her life with each other crying, and laughing is the first step to healing. There is nothing on earth that replaces a mother's spot in our heart but, family , good friends and church family are great places to land! They can hold you up when you can't imagine even getting any farther than getting out of bed. Let others help it makes them receive the feeling of doing God's work and you will be blessed by knowing they are a safe place to lose it!!! I know I talk too much but, just thinking about losing my mother and remembering what helped me through. On a funny note...whenever your mother and I were together it was a sight to see! Me pushing to be 5' and your mother's height...she and I laughed about it many times. She was such fun, a great teacher and a dear friend.
All my love/prayers,
B.K.
