Pansy Burns, age 98 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday morning, March 8, 2019, at the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. Pansy was born July 21, 1920, at Hilltop, Arkansas the daughter of John and Effie Bellamy Burnett.

Pansy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, Clarence Burns, her son, Randy Burns and an infant daughter. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Tressie, Audra, Sylva, Roger, Leland, and Lindy, and a sister Virchie Erwin.

Pansy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Denise Burns of New Hampshire, her grandson, Robert Burns and wife Stacey of North Carolina, her granddaughter, Melissa Burns and her husband, Vijay Sankaran of Boston, Massachusetts; two great-grandsons, Randy and Sam Burns, her sister, Evelyn Campbell of Harrison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews

A special thank you to the staff of Harrison Retirement Center, Mount Vista Health & Rehab, NARMC CCU and 1st Floor, Dr. Blake and Amanda Chitsey for their loving care.



Visitation was an hour prior to the funeral service at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was 11:00 AM, Monday, March 11, 2019, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Noakes officiating.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
