Billy Warhurst, Sr., 77, of Osceola, passed away March 2, 2019. He was born May 1, 1941 in Marie, AR to Herbert and Beatrice Warhurst. He was a retired automotive mechanic for Smith Tire. He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Brenda Warhurst; sons: Billy, Jr. (Tracy) Warhurst and Terry Mann; daughters: Mary Helen (Jim ) Grider and Deborah Crawford; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law: Lisa Warhurst. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Douglas Warhurst; grandson: Billy Christopher Warhurst; brothers: Charles, Jimmy, Bobby, and Baby Boy Warhurst; sisters: Claudia, Claudine Warhurst, and Dorothy Dillard.

I recall dear memories of Billy and his parents, particularly Beatrice, growing up in the Bassett area. I pray he rest in peace.

Although we have not gotten the opportunity to know Billy Warhurst in person, we share a common bond as grandparents to his great grandson Matthew. I am only sorry that Matthew did not get the opportunity to meet and get to know his Great Grandfather!
