My dears, I know this has been a long and hard time to go through. Seeing your loved one so sick and feeling so helpless. Although you will miss him greatly you can now visualize him with that smile again. Have known Buddy all my life and was always glad he loved his hometown of Paris enough to open his practice here and not leave to become a big city, big money lawyer. My thoughts and prayers are with you as I know your life will never be the same.

My Dad, his brothers and sisters grew up with the Hixson kids. I wish I could remember all Dad's stories about their playing together. I do know this. Buddy is joining the Chism Street gang who preceded him in death. What a reunion they must be having in heaven! My condolences to the family.

I worked for Buddy the last 2 years of his life. He was a good man,he had his good days and his bad days & I enjoyed working for him. Working as his caretaker for quit some time had turned him into a friend not just a boss. Seeing him sick and in pain was sad but knowing he's not anymore is a relief. I'll miss you Buddy. ❤

You were one of a kind. There never was, nor will there ever be, anyone else like Buddy Hixson. You were a legend! Dependable, honest, hard working, funny, and with such a kind heart - when you wanted people to see it! I was one of those lucky few that got to see it. Thank you, Buddy, for being so very good to me over the years. Rest now, happy, whole and healthy. RIP.

To Buddy family~~~We all know he is in a much better place. There aren't enough words to describe Buddy. He was a good friend of my parents Guyth & Ruth Rogers. They had a lot of good times together. He was our family lawyer and also for Ronnie's mom and dad. (C. M. and Melissa Jones). I know you all have great memories too! They are now your treasure. Prayers for his family/
