I am very sorry to hear of Duane passing away. Quite a shock to be sure. I worked with Duane at ACN events and he was always someone i very much enjoyed talking to. His love of life, his wife and his family were alway common themes. He was an inspiration to many and loved by all. I will miss you.
RIP my friend.
As a member of the band “Split The Dark†I was fortunate enough to come to know DG (as I called him) from the endless days on the road. He was such great person and friend. That was over 30 years ago, but he made a lasting impression. Comfort and peace to his family.

I will certainly miss my friend Duane. We always had some good conversations around racing and specifically F1. I got to visit with him twice a year at our conferences and I always made sure to find him and say hello. I know of his love for his wife and how he left the rest of with good feelings. You will be missed my friend.
To the precious family of my friend, Duane:
I am so very sorry for your loss and the hole in your heart that I am certain you feel. Duane was one of a kind. I grew up with Duane in North Highlands. I was fortunate enough to have some lengthy conversations with him a couple of months ago, wherein he told me how much he loved his beautiful Missy, we talked about our childhood, the bees, old friends, Hueytown, etc. it was a great conversation, with an absolutely wonderful friend, the kind where you pick up like you had spoken with each other every day. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. Duane will be missed by every person who was fortunate enough to know him. RIP, my sweet friend Duane.
You were loved by many, my friend and you will be missed.
I've cherished your friendship since childhood. God be with you my friend and brother. I will remember you always.
