Eloise was my favorite teacher when I was a student at Central High School. She was my speech teacher, drama coach, and eventually, Director of Helena Little Theatre's production of The Wizard Of Oz, and many more.

She took me under her wing, and made me a better actor, speaker, and person. She was special, and we all loved her dearly.

Melinda, I remember when you were just a little girl. Please always remember how much your Mother was loved, and how much she loved you.

The world is a lesser place without her.

So sorry for the loss of Eloise, a truly great lady. It was very special for her to direct The Maumelle Players in Arsenic and Old Lace a few years ago. We all learned a great deal from her and will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

I have such great memories of this wonderful lady. She was so pleasant to everyone and gave so much of herself to our community and her students and pretty much everyone who crossed her path. Thank you on behalf of a grateful community for all your service. You left a great legacy still very strong today. Rest in peace. Kevin Smith, Mayor of Helena-West Helena

I don’t know a lot about acting but what I do know is because of Eloise. She was one of the few people I ever knew that every single day she wore a smile which made me smile. So thank you Eloise

Just want her family to know we will greatly miss Mrs.Kalb. I had the privilege of having her teach me in high school (Class of 68) and in college ( Class of 84) and she was one of the greatest educators I ever encountered. Most of all though she was a really nice human being which is rare today. Got a Christmas card a couple of years ago from her that I will cherish and I will always cherish my memories of her!

Ms. Eloise was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend. She had a way, especially with me, of getting me to do things that I would never have done on my own and I loved her for that. We had so much fun with the Helena Little Theater productions. She never got me on stage, but, I worked behind the stage and spotlighs for many of her productions. I would never know what a PAR, percale spot or Strong Trouper was.. She will be missed. We love you Eloise.

I loved her so much and missed her terribly when she left Helena. She taught me so much in theater workshops and acting classes. I enjoyed every minute I was around her. She ALWAYS accepted me and made me feel just as capable as any of the other students. She will remain a loving memory in my heart forever.

Love and prayers to the entire family.
