James ''Jim'' Harvey, 86, of Fox, Arkansas passed away at his home on Monday, February 4, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born on August 6, 1932 in Swifton, Arkansas to the late Jim and Laura (James) Harvey. He married Shirley Ainsworth in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 18, 1959. Jim honorably served his country retiring from the United States Navy after 20 years of loyal service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a devoted husband and father who always provided for his family. He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Jim is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Ainsworth) Harvey; son, John Harvey of Conway, Arkansas; daughters Carmen and husband Brett Bohn of Las Vegas, Nevada; Jean and husband Kevin Curtis of Arlington, Texas; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Laura (James) Harvey and one step-sister, Norma Jean O'Brien.

A memorial service for Jim will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.
