Robert Lee FrancoeurI am a Veteran.

of Little Rock, AR

July 3, 1946 - January 21, 2019

Robert Lee Francoeur was born on July 5th, 1946, died January 19, 2019, and is survived by his first spouse, Liz: two sons, Jean-Paul and Jazno; and four grandchildren, Julian, Sophie, Ethan, and Bella. Francoeur was a military veteran, having served in the ARMY green berets as a paratrooper, munitions expert, and medic in the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg. Francoeur received a BA in psychology at WSU, followed by an MS in Applied Psychology.

Later in life, he completed his JD from Bowen School of Law. He began his professional career at Gates Learjet in Wichita KS, where he later established EMPAC, a counseling agency dedicated to employees of large companies who suffered from drug and alcohol dependency. He spent most of his career as a human resources manager at Snap-On Tools in Tennessee, and CPC International (Best Foods) in Arkansas.

Francoeur was well known by those close to him as a true intellectual with the capacity to speak authoritatively in a number of areas, from philosophy to history. He was also an avid backpacker. He will be terribly missed by his family and friends who shall gather on February 2nd at 4PM for a visitation, followed by a service at 5PM at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home to lay him to rest and honor his memory. Francoeur's ashes will be interred with those of his second spouse, Vicki Bourek Francoeur, at Quitman Cemetery in east Texas. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.

Jean Paul- I am thinking about you and your family during this difficult time. Loosing a parent is one of the hardest life experiences we can have. I understand.
Much love, Gina

Bobby was always a fun guy to be with whenever his Mom, Aunt Verla, would bring him and his brothers to Deer Creek we always enjoyed playing in the woods in the gully and in our small cabin that Dad built for us and our cousins. We always had a blast whenever we got together. If it was a trip to Ks. to see them. Or them coming to Ill. to see us, it was always a welcomed occasion. R.I.P my cousin Bobby we will miss you and our prayers are with your family and close friend at this time and always. Bobby you fought the good fight you kept the faith. We love you and will miss you greatly. with our deepest sympathy and prayers, Jim and Karen Hunziker
