Virginia Eudora Adams, 84, of Goobertown, AR, and most recently of Ravenden, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born September 10, 1934 in Jonesboro to Lloyd Davis Summers, Jr. and Mary DeArmond Summers Pierce. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker, secretary and one of the founding partners at Adams & Cooper Plumbing. She was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church and a former 4-H leader. She loved fishing, sewing, cooking, and was most famous for her pies and Christmas candies.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by parents; her husband of 32, years, Roy E. Adams; two sisters, Mary Mae Hicks and Sara Gasaway; Gaither and Margaret Cooper, long time friends and business partners.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa (Dennis) Lamberth of Ravenden; grandchildren, Jennifer (Wes) Lawrence and Jeremy Lamberth; great grandchildren, Wesson and Wynn Lawrence; her brother-in-law, Gerald Gasaway; her sister-in-law, Norma Gramling Cornelison, and many extended family members.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Bro. Tony Stottlemyre officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm (Noon) until the time of the service.
Gaylon Cooper, Ryan Harris, Roy Bowles, Terry Martin, Jim Clayton and Johnny Crawford will proudly serve as pallbearers.
Charles Johnston, Edward Willey and Eddie Johnston will serve as honorary pallbearers.

So very sorry for your loss. Virginia was always such a sweet lady to me and helped immensely with Helen Newom when she was homebound and more. Prayers to each and every one of her family and friends
