Marion served as a stenographer for the Canadian Government, an administrative assistant for a Christian high school, and an order clerk for Hudson Oxygen. Marion loved sewing, cross stitching, and puzzle books. Her hands were never still. There are bountiful fond memories with her children, grand children and great grandchildren.

She and C.C. lived in Southern California and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked as a masonry contractor. They retired in 1989 in Clinton, Arkansas. C.C. was an avid student of the Bible. He wrote many Biblical studies, all of which were edited and typed by his beloved, Marion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 60 years, C.C. Donald, one brother, Nelson Trafford, two sisters; Ruth Trafford and Jean Smith.

To Daniel, Larry, Raymond and Arlene, I am saddened to hear you had to say goodbye to your Mom. As difficult beyond words, as this is, it is a wonderful comfort to realize your Mom is in the care and presence of her Saviour and Heavenly Father and is enjoying a joyous Family Reunion there with your Dad and Other dear Family she loves, that will never end!
As my Aunt, your Mom’s outgoing personality, smile and contagious laugh still give me a sense of joy inside when I think of her. I grew up as I’m sure You must have too, hearing Trafford Family stories that originated from 308 Cambridge Street in Ottawa, Ontario. Those infamous family music jam sessions in their small home have been recounted many times, from a much loved time. I can envision your Mom wholeheartedly “pounding out’ the familiar hymns and Gospel music on the piano, while my Dad, your Uncle David and your Mom’s other siblings, all eight of them, played their brass instruments and sang in harmony, filling Grandma and Grandpa’s home with a home grown orchestra and choir! Their neighbours who regularly sat out on their porches to listen in, were really blessed - to God’s Glory. What a heritage we share!

Love and Hugs,

Your Cousin, Catherine (Trafford) Welk
