Preceding him in death were his parents, Forrest Everett and Alma Lucille (Maloney) Hurd.

Survivors include one son, one daughter and three grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Connecticut.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service in Booneville, Arkansas.
