Shirley Ann Barker Ross, 77, of Palestine, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on Wednesday, July 9, 1941 to Arthur Wilbur Barker and Mary Etna Shirley Barker.
She is survived by one son, Bill Ross (Randi), of Hermitage, Arkansas; two daughters, Suzanne Sipes (David), of Henderson, Nevada; Emily Threat (John), of Sherwood, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Austin Ross Sr., two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Ross, Ricky Ross, Nicky Stevens, Bradley Hankins, Austin Ross, Justin Jarrett and Andrew Caldwell.
Services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Todd Ross officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 P.M. also on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel. Burial will follow services at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Andrew Brill officiating. Just learned dear "Suzi", what I called her growing up in Marianna. Our parents were good friends and she and I reminisced about our camping trips to Petit Jean Mountain state park, walking from school when I missed the bus, etc. She really adored all her family. My heart and prayers go out to all of you because I know you still miss her.
