John Sharp Taylor, Sr., 82, of Moon Lake, Mississippi, passed away January 2, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. John was born to John Taylor and Carrie Mae Corder January 29, 1937 in Helena, Arkansas. John is survived by his wife, Jenny Taylor; two sons, John S. Taylor, Jr. (Terri) of Austin, Arkansas, Landon Kyle Taylor of Moon Lake; one daughter, Kelly Lynn Taylor North Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kyser Taylor and Ian Taylor; one brother, Dan Taylor (Nora) of Springdale, Arkansas; and a host of cousins and close friends, one special sister-in-law, Donna Neighbors and brother-in-law Lindsey Neighbors and a niece, Haley Taylor who helped take care of Mr. Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents; several nephews; in-laws; one great niece and one great nephew.
Mr. Taylor owned T & C Auto Parts for 37 Years. He had a special love for his family. His biggest joy was his son Landon and daughter Kelly, Johnny Jr. and grand kids.
Services will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at Fourth Street Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 12 noon till time of service. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Roller-Citizens has charge of arrangements 508 Plaza (870)572-2571,

Dear, Jenny & Landon Sorry to hear about Johnny, I will dearly miss him, he was a good man and long time friend, we go back a long ways, will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Johnny was always the nicest guy to do business with. He gave me credit at his store when he barely knew me and I was just a young kid. I will never forget that trust he put into me. My condolences.

Johnny was my friend for a long time. He was my go to guy for any car or truck parts when he was in the business. I never had any problems with Johnny, he was the best at what he did which was helping people with the best service in the world. I will miss him but never forget that smile of his . Rest in peace my dear friend.

So sorry to hear about Johnny. He was a very personable person and always tried to help people. He will be missed by many persons and especially his family and friends. When my husband, Clyde Freeman, and I had a repair shop as well as a Service Station, we bought many items from Johnny. I also went to school with him and Dan who graduated with me.
