Joy (Needham) Hill, 94 of Hackett, Arkansas formally of Scranton passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Fort Smith. She was born on June 30, 1924 in Scranton to her parents Sidney and Nellie (Cravens) Needham. She was a homemaker who loved to read biographies, caring for animals and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Nellie (Cravens) Needham; her husband of 48 years, Albert Hill; one sister, Lois Howard; four brothers, Fay Needham, John Needham, Troy Needham and Russell Needham.

Joy is survived by her daughter, Sydney Fulbright and husband Ron of Hackett, Arkansas; one son, Eddy Hill and wife, Willie Mae of Muldrow, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Joel Hill, Jason Hill, Joshua Fulbright, Jessica Hayes and Emily Giannola; nine great grandchildren; two special nieces, Ann Hatchett of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Lesa Moyer of Fayetteville, Arkansas and other family members and friends.

Graveside Service and Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Wares Chapel Cemetery in Scranton officiated by Rev. Zeke Allen under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
