Argie Pauline Clark, age 90, of Harrison, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018, at Hillcrest Home in Harrison. She was born August 14, 1928, in Compton, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Marie (Maybe) Villines. Her parents; her husband; and her four brothers, Jarvis, Robert, Wayman and Kenneth Villines, preceded her in death.
Pauline was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church. She married Travis Clark June 1, 1946, in Newton County and together they moved to Harrison in 1950. She worked for the Department of Human Services office for 21 years before retiring in 1989. In her free time, Pauline enjoyed gardening.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Rodney Clark of Bergman and Gary Clark and his wife Kerry of Harrison; her sisters, Dene Duty of Boxley and Patricia Fancher of Kingston; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday, December 11, 2018. at Roller-Christeson Funeral home.
Graveside service was Wednesday, Decmeber 12, 2018, at Maplewood Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Gurley, Brent Gurley, Rick Gurley, Steve Clark, Denton Fancher, Larry VanCuren, Paul Villines, Conard Villines, and Bobby Villines
