Larry Joe Ivy, 70, of Batesville passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018.

He was born on January 4, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Roy Riley and Wanda (Wink) Ivy. He was raised by Wanda and her husband, Craig Ivy.

Larry was a kind-hearted person who was always willing to help people out. He loved his wife and family very much and loved to brag on his grandkids. He was a real people person and never met a stranger. He enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, hunting and fishing, and watching the wildlife.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary (Hull) Ivy; daughters, Renee Bednar, Kelly Hopper (Daren) and Joni Davis (Chris) all of Batesville; step-daughters, Angela Price (Ronnie) of Damascus and Donna Herring of Greenbrier; step-son, Chris Scroggins (Pamela) of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Cathy Brooks (Charles) and Linda McCarroll (Jack) both of Batesville; brother, Benny Dale Ivy (Brenda) of Batesville; eleven grandchildren, Tami Roberts, Josh Price, Shannon Herring, Charlie Scroggins, Genevieve Scroggins, Meagan Ivy, Whitney Hopper, Lexi Hopper, Logan Davis, Taylor Davis, and Kyle Davis; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers are Charles Brooks, Jack McCarroll, Ronnie Price, Branden Wedding, Jeff Fuller, and Johnny Babb. Honorary pallbearer will be Daren Hopper.

Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel with Kenny Tharp and Leonard Tharp officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
