Frances Jane Sparks, age 80 of Oakland, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 08, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on November 10, 1938 to Charles and Lucy (Knox) Kimball in Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
Frances was of the Baptist faith and she met the love of her life Darrell Phillips and they were together for five years. Frances loved nothing more than having family gatherings and spending time with the people she loved.
She is survived by the love of her life Darrell Phillips of Oakland, Arkansas; sons: Chuck (Lynnie) Harris of Midway, Arkansas, James Harris of Ravenna, Ohio, William (Angelia) Long of Midway, Arkansas, John (Susan) Sparks of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughters: Roberta (David) Burks of Gainesville, Missouri and Patricia (Mike) Williams of Henderson, Arkansas; one sister Esther Sams of Elizabeth, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren; step-children: Ray (Nancy) Sparks of Gastonia, North Carolina and Jane (Jerry) Alexander of Gastonia, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
A visitation will be held on Monday December 10, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 2 PM at the Roller Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bobby Copeland officiating. Interment will be at Custer Herron Cemetery.
