So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

Sue loved family more than anything. As her youngest sister I have many fond memories. As a child I visited her often in her apartment downtown Little Rock. Once she had a "peeping tom" drilling a small hole in her door. Of course she called the police and they told her to shoot him but make sure he fell INSIDE the apartment. We would make ice cream and watch the Miss America Contest. Back then that was a big deal. Christmas Eve would usually find her in a bedroom in mom's house crying and tying to get her gifts wrapped. I didn't understand that stress then but I definitely do now! She worked so hard at Timex and the Bicycle Factory. No matter what she was there for all of us. She bought my high school year book and my ring, One year I wouldn't have had a winter coat if she had not taken me shopping and bought me one. I remember that was such a cold winter too. Her heart was so full of love and life. She loved country music and the stories could go on and on. Oh the memories!!

Aunt Sue was one of a kind! A twinkle in her eye and sass in her pants. Some of the things she would say.... tickled me, always made me laugh. RIP beautiful lady.

It is no secret that I adored Aunt Sue. She made me laugh just with her sweet smile and bright eyes. I would see her almost daily when she worked at Children’s. At that time, paper charts were all we had and she was very determined that the doctors had their patients charts so they got the correct treatment. Several of the doctors would specifically ask me to call her to find charts. She had a huge heart and I loved being the recepient of her strong hugs. I can assure you that Aunt Mary made certain that she was always comfortable. She received excellent care from Heartland Nursing Home staff and in her last days, UAMS ED & ICU staff. I’m hard to please but I can’t express how kind, considerate and gentle they were with our Aunt Sue. God’s Hands were in total control and now she can rest in Him.

I loved my Aunt Sue. She was fun and spoiled my brother and I especially in our younger days. She was a beautiful person and her smile would light up the room. She loved babies and would grab them as soon as you walked in. I went to the circus with she and Dale to see Coco the clown and Tommy Trent fun barn to hear ole time country music. Might be why I'm not a fan to this day. I will miss this sweet precious aunt, but know she is in a better place. RIP Aunt Sue

Aunt Sue was a very special person. As a kid growing up in a big family, I knew I was going to get a big ole hug from Aunt Sue every time we met which was usually accompanied by a pinch on the cheek. Either way, you knew she loved you and wasn't bashful about showing it. She didn't meet a stranger. I will miss the special twinkle in her eyes and also her special hugs.

Sue was such a special sister. She had the biggest heart, and family was everything to her. She gave her heart to Jesus at a young age assuring her eternal destination--- heaven. Sue would say to all to make that all important decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior to await that great reunion with her, on that day. She loved kids and if there was a baby around, she was holding and loving on it. She was a hard worker and gave her all to whatever she did. I am happy that she is at rest as she had been through a lot. Curt and I have lots of precious memories!
Rest well Sue. We will see you in the morning.
