Donnie Lee Marcus Carroll, 69, of Mountain View, Arkansas died at his home on December 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 22, 1949, at Spear Lake, Arkansas. He worked as a mechanic and once served Marked Tree, Arkansas as a City Deputy Reserve. He was a member of Arbanna Baptist Church on Highway 5 in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Clark Carroll; two sons, John W. Stepp and Jerry Donald Stepp of Marked Tree, Arkansas; two daughters, Venus Veber and husband Bill of Oswego, Illinois and Dina L. Atkins and husband Jim of Mountain View, Arkansas; as well as eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren with one on the way; and many nieces and nephews who love him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Clifford Carroll and Lurline Carroll; two sisters, Peggy Kirby and Emogene Cotrell; two brothers, Joe Clifford Carroll, Jr. and Wilburn Carroll.
Visitation for Donnie is Tuesday, December 4, 2018, 6:00-8:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. A visitation before the funeral service is Wednesday, December 5, 2018, 1:00 PM at Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM at Arbanna Baptist Church with Brothers Jim Chandler and Glen Swafford officiating. Burial will follow the service at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Crouch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Christopher Knight, Kenneth Knight, Jordon Atkins, Jimmy Joe Masters, Jerry Donald Stepp, and James Kirby, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Lawson Carroll, Gene Cotrell, Mike Carroll, Dean Cotrell, Jonathan Masters, and Adam Callahan.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
