George Davis Bullard, 81, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Forrest City, Arkansas. He was born Thursday, December 10, 1936 to Davis W. Bullard and Faye Cate Bullard in Marianna, Arkansas.
Mr. Bullard is survived by one son, Brett Bullard (Nan), of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; one daughter, Betsy Bowman (Joey) of Haynes, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Blayne Jett (Andy), Landon Bullard (Brittany), Heath Bowman, and Hunter Bowman, three great-grandchildren, Jackson Jett, Easton Jett and Landree Bullard, one sister, Willa Jo Beuhler (William), of San Antonio, Texas; one niece and a host of nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of forty-six years, Myra Ann Walker Bullard, and one sister, Emily Jane Porterfield.
Pallbearers will be Mike Walker, Buster Sanford, Butch Gillespie, Jed Anderson, Steve Cranford and Marty Heustess. Honorary Pall Bearer, Buddy Whitehead, Stanley Jones, Rat Spain, Alex Palmer, Billy Benson, Mike Frakes.
Services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at First Christian Church in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Cliff Allen officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Burial will follow services at Marianna Memorial Park. Betsy and Brett so sorry for you loss. I knew both of you parents both most of my life. Your mom was my teacher at Brickeys and that is where I met you dad. Both were very special people. Prayers for the whole family.
