Charles Leroy TannerI am a Veteran.

of Little Rock, AR

March 4, 1932 - November 18, 2018

Charles Leroy Tanner, age 86, of Little Rock, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 18, 2018. He was born March 4, 1932 to Louis Frank and Ina Mae Howard Tanner.
He served four years in the Navy and returned home in February of 1955 to work at WR Wrape Stave Company (later Conestoga Wood) where he worked for more than fifty years. He loved to fish and work with wood, but more than that, he loved his family (and his dogs Abby and Daisy) with all his heart. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He always had a smile on his face and even in the last days would smile when you spoke to him. He loved and was loved by everyone and would help anyone with anything, anytime. He was of Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Louis Tanner and Billy Tanner.
Charles is survived by the love of his life, Eueldean Warner Tanner, whom he married on December 19, 1953; his daughters, Donna Anderson (Danny), and Janet Goforth; two grandchildren, Jamie Lockert and Joshua Lockert (Danielle); and two great grandchildren, Bodhi Lockert and Westyn Lockhert.
We the family would like to let the caregivers with Kindred Hospice know how much they appreciate all they have done for them during the last almost two years; Lacey, Raeann, Nicole, Bernice, Barry, and the entire staff. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11:00 at Bryant Cemetery with a visitation an hour prior to service time at Roller-Alcoa Chapel. 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton. (501) 315-0700
