I rode with Bill when I first started NLRPD. Although I moved on to a career in railroading. His kindness was never forgotten. Sympathy was much felt when I read of his passing.

Knew Bill from his days at Code. He always handled our residents with such grace. He was a fine man and although we lost a wonderful man, Heaven gained a fantastic Angel.

Carolyn and Family,
I read the email this morning and have been praying continuously all day. I wish I could say something that would ease your pain but I cannot. Just remember that the Lord said he would be with us. Bill was a good man and look at the example he left for your sons, daughter in laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren to follow.

Bill is my friend, coffee buddy and a beloved brother in Christ. He and I have a friendship that has lasted 62 years. We love old cars and trucks and our wives (our wives of course first). We are Chevrolet men through and through. I rejoice that he is not suffering - but enjoying the presence of the Lord, whom he served. Bill truly has fought a good fight, he kept the faith, he finished well!! Our thoughts and prayers to Carolyn, the boys and all the family. Bob and Margaret Acre
