Ruth Rongey, 88, of Booneville passed away Friday, November 16, 2018, in Booneville.

Ruth was born January 3, 1930, in Paris, Arkansas to the late John and Nora (Milligan) Cameron. She worked for Rodey Manufacturing making fishing poles and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Rongey and other brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her three sons, Donald Rongey and wife, Sharon of Booneville, Arkansas; James Rongey of Booneville, Arkansas; David Rongey and wife, Jan of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one daughter Dee Lucey of West Fork, Arkansas; three brothers, Marvin Cameron and wife, Betty of Driggs, Arkansas; Kenneth Cameron and wife, Rosemary of Scranton, Arkansas; Sammy Cameron and wife, Mert of Paris, Arkansas; one sister, Mae Kirsey of Paris, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews; other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2018, at the Booneville Funeral Service Chapel.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Booneville Funeral Service Chapel with burial following at Liberty Cemetery near Driggs under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Chris Rongey, Justin Rongey, Jerry Wayne Rongey, Wyatt Rongey, Donnie Rongey and Cody Rongey.
