Hattie L. Holmes, 87, of Lexa, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Helena Regional Medical Center in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas.
Mrs. Holmes was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Holmes Sr. a son James Holmes Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janette H. McCarty (Scott) of Lexa, AR, and Vickie L. Rothe of Tempe, AZ, two sons, Melvin E. Hill (Kathy) of Heber Springs, AR, and William D. Holmes of Proctor, AR, two sisters, Mary Measel of Violet Place, PA, and Carol Norris of Horseshoe Lake, AR, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with service at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral with interment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
