Leslie Ray Smock, 80, a resident of Booneville passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, in Booneville.

He was born June 23, 1938, to the late Earl and Elsie Dudley Smock. Leslie graduated high school from Coggon, Iowa. Drove truck. He was a member of the Deleware County Sheriff's Patrol and mayor of Hopkinton, Iowa. Leslie relocated to Minnesota and retired as a truck driver.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Smock.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Geraldine; two sons, Ray (Kitty) of Pensacola, Florida and Ron (Nancy) of Little Falls, Minnesota; one daughter Susan Struss (Perry) of Fairmont, Minnesota; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers, Luann Crawford, Annie Smock, Leon (Lea) and Lindy, all of Iowa. Preceded in death by parents and one brother, Lowell Smock.

Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
