Georgia Mae Godfrey, age 95, of Harrison, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018, in Harrison. She was born May 28, 1923, in Kingdom Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Robert E. and Isabelle (Wilson) King. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garry L. Godfrey; and her siblings, Geneva, Isaac, Mary Alice, Fred, Lillian, Lena and Ada Ruth.

Georgia was of the Methodist faith. She married Garry Lyle Godfrey on August 23, 1941. She was a homemaker.

Georgia is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Garry and Ruby Lee Godfrey of Harrison and Lyle Grant and Carol Godfrey of North Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister, Willia Pruitt, of Branson, Missouri; and her brother, Lucian King, of Flippin.

Georgia is also survived by her seven grandchildren and their spouses, Gavin Godfrey, Ronalee and Jonathan Coppock, Ronelle and David Tallant, Garren and Erica Godfrey, Melanie and Cody Maupin; Travis and Kim Godfrey and Chad and Nicole Godfrey.

Georgia is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren, Alexys, Tyler, and Trystan Godfrey, Scott, Gabe, and Chloe Coppock, Elayna, Xander, Zeke, Xavier and Zach Tallant, Roman, Oden, and Avalynn Godfrey, Jackson Godfrey, Cayden, and Addyson Maupin, and Tristan Godfrey; and a host of other family and friends.



Funeral was 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Ronald Godfrey officiating; visitation was one hour prior to the service.

Interment was in George's Creek Cemetery.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.
