L.D. Rohrscheib, age 81, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Searcy. Mr. Rohrscheib was born March 1, 1937 in Lexa to the late H.W. and Eunice Rohrscheib. He was a member of Lexa Baptist Church and the VFW. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Rohrscheib is survived by his wife of 18 years, Dorothy; two sons, Dale Rohrscheib of Lexa and Curtis Rohrscheib (Shannon) of West Helena; two stepsons, John Eichler (Chris) of Romance and Mark Eichler (Marnie) of Newburn, Tennessee; daughter, Sissy Jacobs of Lexa; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Nancy Hill of Lexa, Emma James (Jerry) of Lexa, Cathy Pryor (Jerry) of Lexa and Pat Delk (Dennis) of Lexa; two brothers, Henry Rohrscheib (Billie Sue) of Lexa and Leonard Rohrscheib (Amanda) of Lexa; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rocky Rohrscheib; stepson, Brian Eichler; first wife, Nadine Rohrscheib; and second wife, Regina Rohrscheib.

A service for L.D. Rohrsceib will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2018 at Lexa Baptist Church in Lexa. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Fred Garrison will officiate.

Pallbearers are Ed Covington, Bob Outlaw, Duane Woodyard, Cotton Rohrscheib, Bruiser Pryor and Scott Pryor.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
