Uncle Thurman, my heart misses you but I know God was ready for you to go home and be with my Aunt Loulou, I know your holding hands and both of you are smiling down on us. You were a true man of faith in God and how he blessed us with you on this earth. I remember being at y'all 's house in Little Rock when it iced and we could not get up the hill, when you and Aunt loulou told me I was eating fried chicken and it was quail. I have so many wonderful memories of you both in my life,. I know as I said you are in a better place and we should celebrate because of that, but it still hurts, I love and miss you both with all my heart and I thank God that I was allowed to have such a wonderful Uncle and Aunt...

Thurman was always "Pete" and "Uncle Pete" to us and our children and we all loved him very much. He was an inspiration as a family man, a sportsman and most of all as a solid Christian leader. We loved the whole family and always enjoyed our times together. We send our deepest condolences to everyone and pray that you will be able to put your sadness behind you soon and replace it with the joy of the memories you all made together. We regret we will be unable to attend his service but want you to know we have him and the rest of the family in our hearts. God bless you all.

C.T. and Louise were both an inspiration and example of great Christian people. We always enjoyed seeing him in church and fondly remember him leading "A Beautiful Life". If living life like C.T. and Louise did the world would be much more loving and compassionate. He will be missed as is Louise.

Danny and I were so sorry to hear about your dad. I looked for him when I visited the nursing home Wed. night as I did every time I visited the nursing home, I will miss stopping by and having short visits with him. he was always with a smile on his face as he greeted us when we came in. God comfort you all in this time of grief.
