Mark A. Mays, 46, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born January 9, 1972 in Wynne, AR to the late William and Dolly Anderson Mays. Mark is also preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Mays, sister, Helen Shadell and three nieces, Tanya Andrews, Donisha Mays, and Toni Pruitt.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 13 years, Catherine Mays, three sisters, Sharon Stephens of Tilton, AR, Judy Swaite and Debbie Pierce (Rickey) all of Cherry Valley, AR, two brothers, Billy Mays (Patsy) and Jimmy Mays (Mary) all of Cherry Valley, AR, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mark attended Conway United Pentecostal Church of Conway. Mark worked as a professional wrestler in Memphis, a police officer and finally a private investigator. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and enjoyed fishing, small engine repair, talking politics, and taking care of his dogs. Most of all Mark loved spending time with his family, especially the love of his life and best friend, Catherine. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 10am Saturday, November 10th at the Conway United Pentecostal Church, with Bro. Johnny Shadell, Bro. Larry Pearce, and Jack Trower officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Faulkner County.
I'm sorry to hear of your loss, Catherine. May God's abundant peace be with you in the difficult days ahead.
Bign you will be deeply missed you was loved by all Cathrine keep your head held high and thank of all the memories and the millions of times he made you laugh. And remember from now on every time something silly happens it will be bign saying hey I'm still around
