Mary Hazel Warford, 86, died on October 26, 2018. She was born September 28, 1932 to Walter Leroy Howell and Leathie Ann Parker Howell in Hot Springs County. She married Homer Warford on August 13, 1950. Homer passed on March 3, 1990 and Hazel re-married Ron Shuptrine , who passed on June 19, 2005. She lived her entire life in the central Arkansas area.

She worked for several area banks as a teller before becoming a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. In her later years she drove trucks for freight companies across the country as a team driver with her second husband, Ron.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Howell, Floyd Howell, and Jackie Howell.

She is survived by a sister, Lynda Sue Clay of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, two sons Eric Owen and Paul Dennis Warford, and one daughter, Catherine Ann Smith, all of the Ten Mile community in Saline County. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are with Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton at 306 S. Main Street (501) 315-4047. Visitation will be Monday, October 29, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery.
