Charles Dewayne Currington, 85, of DeQueen passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He was born October 7, 1933 to the late C. P. and Willia Currington. In addition to his parents one sister, Sherry Newton, and his first wife, Charlene Currington, preceded him in death.
Charles was manager of Baldwin, received a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and served in the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Currington; sister, Elaine Grigsby (Paul); brother, Danny Currington (Melba); daughter, Teresa Blakney (Rob); three sons, Lamar Currington (Shannon), Scott Currington, and Tony Currington; grandchildren, Lindsay and Steve Morris, Lee and Bri Blakney, Coy Bell, Caleigh Currington, Hannah Currington, Kelly Currington, Emilee Willison-Cameron Green, and Carolyn Green; step-children, Christina Lee, Rebekah and Billy Green, and Shawn Lee.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home (315-0700) with Pastor Ray Reynolds, Bro. Paul Grigsby and Bro. Rob Blakney officiating. Interment will follow in Rockport Cemetery in Malvern.
Visitation will be held in the chapel an hour prior to the funeral service.
