Dorothy Jean Browning, 83, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Houston Hospice in Houston, TX. She was born October 30, 1934 in Paragould to C.I. and Elsie (Diggs) Swindel. Dorothy attended Nettleton High School and worked for General Electric. She enjoyed reading, listening to Bluegrass music and crocheting.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Ralph Browning; brothers, Woodson Swindel, Orman Swindel, Everett Swindel and sister, Frances Nichols.

Survivors include daughter and son in law, Dianne and Roger McDaniel of Friendswood TX; a sister, Louise Stark of Jonesboro.

A graveside service will be Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 2:00 pm in Trinity Cemetery, Bono, with Larry Gibson officiating. Pallbearers will be, Dale Davis, Bobby Davis, Drew Davis, Randy Jones, Terry Browning and Adam Browning. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Barnes, Larry Swindel, Shannon Davis and Chad Davis.
