Cori Lyn Harrington

of Booneville, AR

August 17, 1973 - July 21, 2018

Cori Lyn Harrington, 44, of Booneville, Arkansas, previously of Amesbury, Massachusetts, passed away July 21, 2018. She was born August 17, 1973 in Newburyport, Massachusetts, the daughter of Bonita Arlene (Bailey) Harrington and the late Michael Bernard Harrington, Jr. Cori grew up in Amesbury, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Amesbury High School. After graduating from Vista College in Fort Smith, Arkansas she was employed at Sparks Clinic Family Practice and was excited about beginning her new career as a certified medical assistant. Cori was passionate in the care of her animals and tending to her vegetable garden. She enjoyed hunting and riding her 4-Wheeler to the creek to fish.

Preceding her in death were her father, Michael Bernard Harrington, Jr.; her paternal grandfather, Michael B. Harrington, Sr.; her maternal grandfather, Francis Bailey and maternal grandmother, Ruth (Tilton) Bailey.

Survivors are her companion, Thomas Ray Reed of Booneville, Arkansas; her mother, Bonita Arlene (Bailey) Harrington of Exeter, New Hampshire; one brother, Brett Harrington and his wife, Carrie; two nephews, Connor and Jack Harrington of Amesbury, Massachusetts; her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth (Flanagan) Harrington of Newburyport, Massachusetts; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Cori believed in the celebration of life and not the mourning of passing. At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial remembrance gathering will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service of Booneville, Arkansas.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals: MSPCA-Angell Headquarters, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130 or ASPCA 424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804

Cori had such a big heart, and was always so fun, and a joy to be around. Everytime I saw her, she had a big hug and smile waiting...didnt matter if I had just seen her the day before, or if it had been a year since we spoke. Sending all my love and prayers, She will be missed!!!

Cori..... I will never forget you girl. Loved meeting your mom at Thanksgiving & celebrating the 4th of July at our secret swimming spot. We drove by your house not too long ago. Wished we would have stopped. Love you Cori! Please keep me under your wings!!
