Donald Richard Collett, Sr, 81, of North Little Rock, passed away on May 7, 2018. He was born on March 22, 1937 in Wolcott, Colorado to George and Lucy Collett.
Donald retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service and was the recipient of a Bronze Star. He then worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he served for 20 years. Donald was a member of the Sylvan Hills Masonic Lodge and attended Mass at the VA Hospital.
Donald is survived by his wife, Glenna McCowan Collett; two sons, Donald Richard Collett, Jr of Harker Heights, Texas and Greg Collett of North Little Rock; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Collett.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 14 from 5-7PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00AM at Roller-Owens Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

Don and I graduated from Florence High School, Florence, Colorado, in 1955. Although we saw each other rarely since our graduation, I always considered Dan as a good friend and we communicated on Facebook. We did meet at a couple of class reunions in 2005 and 2009. On behalf of the FHS Class of 1955, we wish Don's wife and family sincere condolences.
