Ralph Wayne Pettit Sr., 69, of Bauxite passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was born May 8, 1948 to the late Hullon and Evelyn Pettit of Bauxite. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Pettit; second wife, Alice Pettit; and son, Billy Joe Hulsey Jr.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was an ordained minister since 1992 and served as an Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church in Alexander.
Survivors include his five sons, Ralph Pettit Jr., Aaron Pettit (Becky), Mark Hulsey, Randall Hulsey, and Ricky Tipton (Brandy); four daughters, Christina Gaytan, Pauletta Murphy (Chris), Kelly Scott (John), and Cindy Harvey (Robert); two brothers, Leslie Pettit (Rose) and Larry Pettit (Tammy); sister, Kathy Hughes (Robert); aunt, Moncie Wills (JT); twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; many loving friends; and his faithful sidekick, Rascal.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Alexander (15320 Alexander Rd.) with Bro. Tom Cumblidge and Bro. Melvin Burris officiating. Interment will follow in Bauxite Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Chris Murphy, John Pettit, David Pettit, Nathaniel Morrison, Ray Pettit, and Jacob Nellis.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, May 7, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).

I did not get to attend visitation for Ralph but wish to give my and my Mother's condolence's as Ralph was her 1st cousin. I met him several times, and he was a very nice man. May God comfort all his loved ones.
