U. V. (Bea) Johnson Shelley passed into grace on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, where she was reunited with the love of her life, Boyce Shelley. Bea was born May 11, 1927 to James Madison Johnson and Sally P. Brakebill Johnson in Conway, Arkansas.
She was retired from AeroMotor/Mueller Pump and was active in Carelink Services in Conway until her health prohibited her from serving.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Boyce Shelley, a son, Dale Hall, her son-in-law, Bill Williams and her brothers, Willie Johnson, Archie Johnson, Horace Johnson, and Phillip Johnson, and her beloved pets, Marquita, Suzie and Happy.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Williams of Mayflower, Melissa Gibbs (Scott) of Benton, Rachelle Selvog of Minnesota, and a son, Jack Shelley (Deb) of Conway. She is also survived by her brother, Fred L. Johnson of Jacksonville, her sister, Floy Maddox of Clinton, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr. Brent Scroggins, Courtney Moseley and the nursing staff on 4 North at Conway Regional Medical Center. Also, a great thank you to the staff at her home for the last 8 ½ years, Heritage Living Center and the wonderful care she received at end-of-life from Kindred Hospice.
She was blessed during the last week on earth by her great friends, Sharon and Ross Burgess.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 16th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
