Services for Eddie Ruth Stone will be 10 am Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home with Brother Bill McFarland and Brother Clayton King officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home.
Eddie Ruth Stone, 95, of Clarkridge passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
She was born September 17, 1922 to William Alvin and Tacey (Henderson) Cockrum. She married the love of her life Rex Stone on February 26, 1942 at Howard's Ridge. MO. She spent most of her life in Clarkridge, AR. She was a homemaker and started to work at Aeroquip Corp. late in life from where she retired in the early '90s. She enjoyed doing things for her family, cooking, and collecting items that interested her. She loved to shop! She was member of the Clarkridge Church of Christ.
Eddie Ruth is survived by: a son, Darrell Stone (Christine) of Clarkridge, AR., a daughter, Barbara Tilley of Mountain Home, AR., eight grandchildren: Debbie Darter (David) of London, AR., Angie Noblett (Terry) of Dardanelle, AR., Michael Stone of Dardanelle, AR., Toby Stone of Mountain Home, AR., Gregory Stone (Rhonda) of New Ulm, MN, Camie Boskus (Tom) of Mountain Home, AR., Dana Moudy (Phillip) of Gassville AR. and Casey Stone (Lynn) of Mountain Home, AR., 21 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rex, one son, Vernon, four sisters, two brothers.
