Dear Margot...a voice from your past. Was so sorry to learn from Rev. Ann Fontaine, of the death of Dennis. You two were dear and inspirational friends in ministry to Phil and me. I am so sorry for your loss and hope and pray that his journey was peaceful and blessed. Philip died in 1996. Blessings to you.

My prayers are with the family. He was my pastor growing up in Green River, Wyoming. He did wonderful things for our church there, and he had a profound influence on the way I see the world today. I remember sometime during the late 60s / early 70s he invited one of the first female pastors to deliver the sermon on Sunday. I was in my early teens and I didn't think there was anything wrong with a female pastor ... because Denny said it was okay. It wasn't until I left home to go to college that I discovered not everyone believed that way. It makes me smile to know that Denny was always supportive of equal rights and that he opened my eyes at an early age to the way we should treat each other ... with respect and with dignity. God speed, Denny!

To the family: I am so sorry for your loss. I met Dennis in 1993 and we shared many fond times dicussing the role of our Christian selves in lifes various scenarios. We also shared many adventures fishing the waters of Norfork lake and dedicated many a catch to the good Lord. Dennis will be fondly remembered.

I have fond memories of my childhood spent at St Johns Episcopal church in Green River. Reverand Serdahl baptized me and my siblings and he was a friend of my father's.
Deepest sympathies to Reverand Serdahls family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dennis’. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
