Lester Beatrice ''L.B.'' Ratliff, 91, of North Little Rock, AR, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born March 1, 1926, in Rison, AR to the late Claude Everett and Arrie Beatrice Ratliff.
Lester was a World War II veteran in the Army Air Forces as a corporal. He enjoyed coon hunting and fishing. He devoted his life to his wife of 41 years, Reba Nell (Mash) Ratliff. Lester was loved very much and his family will miss his sense of humor.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, wife, Reba Ratliff; son, Mike Langford (Anita) of Vilonia; daughters, Mary Jane Shannon (Dicky) of Vilonia, and Kelly McDowell (Perk) of Louisiana; 8 grandchildren, Jerry Shannon, Terry Shannon, Kerry Shannon, Ricky Walker, Michelle Johnson, Clint Graham, Amanda Boeckmann, and Nicole Hartwick; 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, siblings, Dorothy Moorehead, Milford Everett Ratliff, Frances Flossine Pfifer, Patsy Marie Malley, Carolyn Trousdale, and a host of nieces and nephews. Lester was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kami Adams, brothers, Herbert, Claude Allen, Russell Melvin, and Troy Lewis Ratliff; and sisters, Marcelle Ratliff and Darlene Noreene Parnell.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with visitation one hour prior, interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Rison, AR.

Always enjoyed talking to him on the phone when he called HBPC at the VA and going to visit him. I will miss him dearly!
I am sorry to hear that my Uncle has passed.I will remember him cutting up with me on the phone and in person.He will be sadly missed by all.I wish that I could have been there for you Aunt Nell . I am trying to get over a COPD Flare Up . I am still not doing good was in ER.Wed.Please take care and you are one of the kids to get in touch with me. I love you and know thatI may not be there in person but in Spirit I'm with you and the family and know that he is in a better place now and is no longer suffering.
