Jimmy is my first cousin, our families grew up together in the Modesto Salida Ca area. Many days in the fields picking fruit and/or cutting grapes. Ending the day jumping into the canals to swim and get the peach off our body. Buzz, Jimmy,Freida sleeping on blankets in their backyard. Jimmy was the oldest and always the best at sports. RIP Jimmy you are joining some great people. Jerry

My brother Jim with my hero in a lot of ways I remember as kids they were all teenagers and I was still little but he always made sure that we were all together. He would make sure we brush our teeth and comb our hair when our parents were at work he was the one who took care of us and make sure we were all behaving I love him so much. Whenever I would need help with something or get myself into a little bit of trouble if I would called him he would always be there but if I was in some sort of trouble he would always make me own up to it as wel.l he was my hero I will miss him dearly

My brother Jim was an amazing father, brother, uncle and friend. there is not much Jim would not do for his family to help and protect them. Jim loved his family, especially his children, Tamara, Tina, Jimmie, Ernie and John with all of his heart. The last year or so of Jim's life was spent with his daughter Tina who took great patience and care for him. I cannot say enough about how good and healthy Tina had her dad. In seeing photo's he appeared happy and contented in his life.
My brother will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially me as he was the oldest child in our family and he tried to do his best to care for all of us.
I remember as being young kids growing up in Salida, CA. Jim's favorite part of the day was at night, sitting around the radio and listing to the Long Ranger as it played. He always loved playing his cowboy and Indians. I also remember when my other brother Junior (Buzz) enrolled in the service, Jim enrolled with him in the buddy system so they would stay together. As it turned out Buzz stayed State side while Jim was sent to Korea to help in the war between North and South Korea. This was the kind of family man my brother Jim was. Always caring for family and trying his best to protect them.

RIP MY BROTHER you have earned it. Always loved and never forgotten!
